LEADERSHIP TRAINING
Every Mentor goes thru a series of training before they receive a mentee.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH
AND ADVOCACY
Jewels, Inc., Mentors and Mentees are all about reaching back to pull forward.
The purpose of Jewels, Inc., is to empower the youth by enhancing their vision through gender and age specific enrichment programs.
The mission is to provide venues where the youth can acquire understanding of technical as well as social skills necessary to assume leadership roles through actual practice. Hosting collaborative events between Jewels/Gentlemen and Jewels, Inc., mentees, the youth will gain leadership skills and knowledge for producing community-based events for entertainment and education.
Jewels & Gentlemen for Jewels, serve as community role models for other youth. Young local high school teens are eligible for "adoption" as "younger siblings" who will become official Jr. Jewels/Gents & TenderSTONES/Jr. Gents. All enrichment programs participate in self-improvement and life development workshops including, but not limited to: resume building, etiquette, interview skills/mock interviews, networking, healthy relationships, racism/sexism, hygiene, black history, career opportunities, entrepreneurship, health & nutrition, and many more.
